Fermin Lopez has made a decision that he will not be leaving Barcelona in the 2025 summer window, claims Sport.
The Spaniard is determined to succeed at the Spanish heavyweights despite attracting interest from clubs like Aston Villa and Man United.
Barca were reportedly open to possibly selling Fermin earlier this summer, but there is no more need to do so after Inigo Martinez’s departure.
Lopez recently bought a new house near Barcelona’s training facility and is well settled at the club. He’s citing the likes of Xavi and Andres Inieista needing time to assert themselves as key players at Barca as motivation for the future.
Fermin made 46 appearances for Barcelona last season, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions.
